About

Thank you for taking time to visit my website and learn more about me!

Whether creating the layout of a financial report, cleaning my bedroom closet, or packing to move, I have always loved to organize. Even when packing for a trip I can "play suitcase" for hours! (Packing & repacking just for the fun of it! I know, a little crazy!)

Before starting Simply Neat, I was a business/financial analyst for a decade. I worked on process improvement projects, designed easy to understand reports, and created intuitive software screen layouts. I facilitated regular training sessions and provided countless hours of phone support for sales executives on the use of various computer applications.

In addition to organizing, another passion of mine is helping people (see Simply Neat Volunteer.) Looking back at my professional life, it’s clear that it has really always been about organizing things to be as easy and efficient as possible for everyone, and about helping people through training and support. So when I decided that it was time to make a career change, becoming a professional organizer was the obvious next step.

Now I get to spend my time helping improve the quality of life for people by helping them get organized..

My clients are often feeling pretty defeated by their surroundings by time they call me. After working together, though, you can see that the dark cloud that was hanging over them has lifted. They feel energized and are ready to live their lives to the fullest. This is incredibly rewarding.

My clients have told me that they feel so lucky to have met me. I feel like I am the lucky one, though, because I have the opportunity to help improve the quality of life for so many people. I absolutely love it!

The Simply Neat Philosophy

“I believe that the quality of one’s life can be greatly improved by reducing and organizing material possessions. We accumulate so many things thinking that they will make us happy or give us more time. The irony is, though, that these things end up taking more of our time and never truly make us happy. Life is about the experiences you have, not the things!”
